Michael Scott served in the Royal Navy and Royal Naval Reserve for a total of 38 years, reaching the rank of Commander. After full time service he became a journalist and broadcaster, specialising in travel. He is in constant demand as a knowledgeable interviewee on the subject from media outlets all over the world. He is a published author of a football novel (The Power Game) as well as countless features on travel and tourism.
