About the Speaker...

My interest in bonsai started some 30 years ago. I am now the Chairman of the Accrington & District Bonsai Society and I have been doing talks on the subject for the last 10 years

About his talk...

Duration between 45 to 60 minutes – this depends on audience participation.
As I am a Stand Alone speaker, I do not require any equipment, except, for the Bonsai talk, a couple of tables.

Fee:

My fee is £40 up to ten miles from my home in Accrington, after that an additional charge of 30p per mile from my home. I will travel throughout Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and Cheshire.

Do you remember tin baths, Ewbank sweepers, the nit nurse and kitchenettes or would you rather forget them. A nostalgic and amusing talk of being brought up in the 50`s and 60`s era, with plenty of audience participation and fond memories of times gone by.

THE JOY OF BONSAI

I bring along bonsai of various sizes, styles and species and give a history of the subject as well as case histories of the trees, growing advice and tips to succeed in this fascinating hobby.

I keep the talk light hearted and amusing as any hobby should be and encourage audience questions during the talk.
