About The Speaker...

During Covid I wanted a change to my life and I was always fascinated by a Town Crier in Lambeth when I was a small boy, so I approached The Guilds Of Town Criers to see if a local authority needed one and I contacted all the authorities and it so happened that Sevenoaks in Kent needed a Town Crier, so I applied and I am the youngest Town Crier in the UK at the tender age of 38.
After being Town Crier for a year, I then decided to become a Pearly King. I had my first interview with them in 2021. I became a Pearly Consultant and on the 8th May 2023 I was crowned and became the first Pearly King of the London Borough Of Bromley. I am the only Town Crier who is a Pearly King.

My awards include The Freedom Of London, The British Citizen Award, The BBC Radio Make A Difference Award

About Their Talks...

For my talks, I do have two PowerPoint presentations on USB sticks, if the venue has the facilities for that, but if not I do have lots of laminated information and photos that can been distributed to the audience. I do require a table, as I have some artefacts that I like to show and pass around plus a collecting tin for my charities. I do work using a microphone but I can happily project if the venue doesn’t have that facility.

I also wear both my Town Crier and Pearly regalia depending which talk that you book
