About The Speaker...

I am a professional comedy magician and have done this for over 40 years. I live in Shrewsbury, Shropshire with my wife Jane.
My parents are also magicians, they toured the world with their magic act, including 6 months on a cruise liner with me and my sister working in the act!
Personally, I have won the British Comedy Magician of the Year TWICE; 1986 and 2006, I have performed on The Blackpool Opera House, and have compered the Junior World Championships of Magic. Five years ago I had the honour of becoming the President of the British Magicians (my father was President in 1992; so were the only father and son to have done this!… 1,100 members)

My father and myself were also good friends with the King of Knotty Ash; the late, great Sir Ken Dodd.

About Their Talks...

I do an hour talk on my life of Comedy and Magic. I am completely self contained with my own Bose P.A. system, back-cloth and portable stage.

Its a show for family audiences, with no swearing or smut, just pure comedy belly-laughs!

Fee:

My parents have been magicians all of my lifetime… they have worked on the most luxurious cruise ships, including no less than SIX world cruises… and the fabulous London Palladium. As a family we worked on cruise ships; in fact we were like the ‘Von Trapp family’ of the magic world!

This is a trip down Memory Lane – as soon as I was able to understand what was expected of me, I was brought into the family act.

This talk can be either the standard 45 minutes, or I can condense it to 20 minutes for a lunchtime slot.
