I am Peter Stemmer BEM. From a humble start in the north west I progressed to have a successful, 22 year, military career. On re-entering civilian life I went into retail management with B&Q and Bookers before moving into convenience retailing. For 10 years I owned a Post Office and Store. Now as a very active retiree I run a PR and Marketing company called “The Voice for All Occasions”. I am a professional Town Crier, Toastmaster, Santa Claus and Public Speaker.
About my talk...
I am a stand alone speaker. My talk last about 45 minutes but can be tailored to any length to suit the venue. I will stay after the talk and answer questions if required. I have given my talks to many types of group, Formal after dinner, Masons, Probus U3A, W.I. and Church groups are just a few. At present I am delivering a talk about the history of Town Crying, past and present (see below). I have delivered this talk for 12 years and whilst new events keep it fresh, it is always well received with many comments about not only being entertaining but also very informative.
Fee:
I charge £60 for Darlington and a 10 mile radius. For venues further afield I would charge a reasonable, pre
agreed, travel fee. For large groups of a 100 plus there maybe a different fee. For Local charities or small groups it is often possible to negotiate a lower fee.
