About The Speaker...

I am a professional astrologer of forty years experience. My work centres around the absolute beginner and person interested in what astrology really is and how it can improve the understanding of ourselves and others.
I have presented the talk an introduction to astrology for over ten years and to hundreds of people in many well known groups and organisations.
I work with clients worldwide on birth chart analysis and forecasting. I also currently write an accurate monthly horoscope column, which can be found on my website astrologerphilipheaton.co.uk

Designed for someone who has no prior knowledge although I can also present a library of technical talks on various aspects of the subject for my peers in astrology groups and associated societies.

The Signs of the Zodiac (An introduction to astrology)

An illustrated journey through the signs of the zodiac, introducing some of the base character traits, both positive and negative. Light hearted but designed to be informative. Making the viewer think about themselves and others.
Also included a brief look at what the zodiac is and how it relates to a personal astrological chart.
From newcomer to advanced student, something for everyone.

The Phases of the Moon

An illustrated look at all the phases of the Moon.
The talk outlines what the phase looks like astronomically. The meaning of the phase to those born within it and how it adds another layer to the expression of their personality throughout life.
The talk also shows how a Moon phase can affect us all in a social sense EG.Full Moon and how the monthly cycle of the Moon reflects the year as a whole. Included is a look at how our different emotional responses are indicated by the Moons position when we were born.

The Astrology of Health

This illustrated talk looks at how for millennia human health issues have been connected to the symbolism of astrology and their meanings.
Looking at the predisposition of certain signs to particular illness. Also is a brief look at the history of medicine especially in terms of The Four Humours from the 17th. Century. The audience will have an opportunity to identify with what type of elemental energy they have and how Thier health would once have been diagnosed.
